I-beam and H-beam are among the most important structural steel products used worldwide in civil engineering, industrial construction, and manufacturing. Named after their distinctive cross-sectional shapes resembling the letters “I” and “H,” these beams are designed to provide exceptional load-bearing capacity and structural stability.

H-beams, also known as “wide flange beams,” feature wider flanges than I-beams, which provide superior resistance to bending and torsion.
